Memorial to Dawn Ann Marshall.

On the 5th of April 2014 my beautiful partner Dawn whilst recovering in intensive care was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma as the young consultant doctor was telling her this devastating news her reaction was to put her hand over his and say it must be terrible for you to have to tell me this for me this is an example of the selflessness and true generosity of spirit of this marvellous woman. Traumatic months of illness and treatment followed and although we made the best of all we could the rigours of this finally took their toll and dawn suffered multiple heart attacks during a hospital stay in November having been taken off life support she was not expected to survive but survive she did. I will never forget the immense pride and honour I felt when we married on the ward at Sandwell hospital on November 19th, we were told we had weeks together if not days but they didn't know dawn she managed to get off the medication get back on her feet and help organise the joint wedding of her beloved sons and their partners who she regarded as the daughters she never had she was so proud that day. We made the most if he time we had together but as we expected the lymphoma And the side effects of treatment returned and this time presented dawn with a fight she could not win. I know from the messages of support we have received over the past year dawn has many friends that I have not met so it is through Facebook that I have to relate the terribly sad news that dawn lost her fight earlier today and passed peacefully on. She was a truly wonderful wife mother sister and daughter and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and her friends.
Remember her and smile it's what she would have wanted.
